I have exactly the same problem. only sinds 2sekunden not for me, but about 10sekunden. and some videos are not started. but when I drag the time bar, move the images ... what could this be?

If s.den codecs with the highest "merit" (= importance) for the respective format ... a codec pack (K-lite, Ace Megapack, ffdshow, etc. ..) could tlw. remedy, otherwise only for freaks; test with Gspot codec of MS which is proposed and the exchange until it goes ....
