Hello,
because no software I've found that my Digital8 tapes s.Stück absorbs without a think limit of 4GB per file, I have the fairly simple use Windows Movie Maker. Soni digital camera connected s.Firewire card. WMM gestertet, Camera and was always found by the program from the camera started. Has worked for years without problems.
NOW: The Sound is in import Avi quality with hardly any recorded in the saved file is no sound available! I had to typed codec problem, but the new cut-up my PC has synonymous nothing, I still get a sound rarest. in 9 of 10 attempts, he does not sound.
What am I doing wrong, how can I solve the problem? WMM actually wanted to use next.

PS.: Cutting themselves mainly rowing DVD of my former rowing group ... is quite a bit when escaped, which I'm proud, but much work lies waaaaahnsinnig in as a 60-minute DVD just!

Formatiram the disk under NTFS, and this limit falls. You can of synonymous convert FAT32 to NTFS, only need a lot of confidence to have your electricity supplier.
When you've done, Get the Freeware Scenalyzer times, and import your clips in order. Does it work?
Windows Movie Maker, you should immediately dispose of. There really is VERY cheap Programs, which are considerably more reliable.

Try out the alternatives, it is worth. I recommend Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 in the version. Taste without the "Platinum" no additional 60 euro.

was during the recording (more) times (s) the sound of 12-bit to 16 bit, or vice versa? Some programs may not do something and then take the sound is not.
