I have a problem with the Movie Maker video with every thing I insert into a project is published on the bottom half green.
S.den treasures is the settings for the Height and Width of a video clip but can not change.
Bin s.verzweifeln!
Please urgent help!

Heat for the first ever interested in what you as the WMM vorsetzt where the material originated? With freeware GSpot allows the out. Without the information would be anything else to guess.

the files are in AVI file format is stored.
the total bitrate is 3750KBit / s
and 30 frames per second

Tried g-spot with the WMM to open but it showed me as a codec to be missing ...

The hat was with the video height and width to do that I can not change it? With the s.sich Height has nothing to do, but a problem with the decoder (1) and subsequent re-coding (2).
1) For compression formats that are based on image groups, show and edit, you need to have the video editing program to calculate each Picture (decoder).
2) After processing, the original compression format be restored. If it becomes a problem, then how these errors arise.
So much for theoretical background. Perhaps this manifests itself so anyone with experience Xvid ...?!

hey I think I know the solution for your problems, for short until I had the same.
Open Windows Movie Maker go to Tools then click Options. then you open compatibility (I hope I've spelled correctly) and remove (the hook, activity) of all i do not filter: Avi Decompressor, PDX MPEG-2 Splitter and PDR MPEG-1 Splitter hoarse.
Just try it villeicht then the problem is solved.
I have avi files and use this green bar would not disappear so easily, I am on youtube gagengen and have windows movie maker problems and then entered the solution found. (in commentary)
