Frage von TommY-FreaK:Hi,
I hope you can help me. I need help urgently!
I have a SonyDCR-HC17E camcorder and a Firewire problem wiedermal (). As I have already read everywhere that SP2 "shit" is, I installed SP1 and me but my PC does not recognize my camcorder.
I once had some time before Windows XP with SP1 on it and everything was flawless. Magix Video Deluxe 2006 has recognized my camcorder with no problems. Then I installed SP2 on my PC and been playing since the problems which I had no desire to return and have SP1 installed ('ve formatted the hard drive always synonymous). Nevertheless, my PC does not recognize my camcorder :-(
Because I thought that I my Firewire cable 4 / 6, with which it has worked very good time had somehow damaged (which could not be synonymous in some way) and had bought me a new one. In spite of this, it still does not work. My firewire port is built into the motherboard. Although USB is synonymous, but the quality is not at all satisfactory.
What could now be stored? Either s.PC or s.der Cam? What do you think?
PLZ Help me!

Joking apart: The most common problems in recent times WinXP/SP2 (with distance!), A lousy Firewire cable (so one for 1.99 ¬), an
un OHCI-compliant Firewire (onboard) port and one s.PC grilled DV interface s.Camcorders.
Since you can exclude SP2, and the cable as the cause, I would have bet on the interface s.PC. But if that used to work, remains only the electrostatic charge. This would obviously bad ... Well, maybe you'll find the link collection with yet another (cheaper) cause / solution. * * daumen-depressive
