Frage von *the.jokeR*:Hello,
I have the divx doc. with which I am but (according to my knowledge) only divx movies can create (ie, the film gets a divx file icon and plays out in the car divx player from). But I want a avi file with divx codec oderso. I know because I do not like this but it promises high quality and small size. Can someone tell me if I with the divx doc. can do and if not then with what prog?
Thanks for all of your answers!

AVI is just a container format ... see
Magix can not read AVI. It plays no role, ultimately, whether a file directly as DivX compression evident, or if there is a DivX movie in an AVI container is hidden.
Antwort von Dominique:
The plays in this case has a role. If the file extension *. divx DivX makes except the player usually no other player on the file. A *. divx file is similar to a VOB, which can be multiple subtitles and audio tracks. These files can be on a DivX certified standalone with subtitles / languages play (s.DivX 5.1).
In most cases, but it helps a simple rename to *. avi. These are possible but the subtitles so lost.
