Good day.
The following problem keeps me straight on:
For a customer was a kind of "Showroom", ie. multiple monitors, controlled via a Flash application of a touch screen from which to stop pretty much everything to see what is important and representative of this department of the company. Among other things, some image synonymous films we have produced synonymous. The movies are in wmv format and are encoded in a window of the application on the windows internal standard retrieved Player (Mplay32.exe). The problem: After some excessive way and her spool in the film itself, the player crashes s.and thus brings the application to crash and thus the entire system, ergo bluescreen on all 6 monitors, servers must be restarted, everything including ungut.
I'm currently booked up well with other things than the inadequacies of the F & ** 977t Windows Media Video format.
From 8 shooting caused only one (FilmX) no problems, this is with const. Bitrate of 2 mbit with the Resolution640x480 encoded. The other films are in the same bit rate before, partly a little higher. With variable bit rate is apparently nothing.
The only difference between FIlmX and the others I've found so far: This was directly out of Avid as wmv spent the other part of after effect only as uncompressed avi or mpeg2 as of vegas and then only to wmv.
Any ideas?
Interesting side effects of the last few days include:
WM Encoder, the same installation executable file on 2 different computers inst. One dies as a result of the encode avi wmv after starting, the other is not. The Calculator are absolutely identical and completely without anything new. Also like the wmvs several times with 8 mbit instead of 2 ausgespuckt be entered. I got the impression that the format is simple s.sich mags so I do not.
Other than wmv format is not there. Apologies twisted my German, I'm somewhat sleepless days.

mach grad internship at SWR and researching in the media player and codec around the world.
after 4 weeks recherche I never Mplay32.exe what about this one. very interesting. brauch but None. nothing more here, despite the results of my work:
media player classic + ffdshow DirectShow Filter = perfect performance
plays itself MXF files, DVCPRO files and of course synonymous wmv files from. Of course, synonymous with variable bitrate. vorrausgesetzt you have the DirectShow filters for it. apart of MXF and DVCPRO codecs are but all this world at this ;-) ffdshow
We can discuss the video or FFDShow edit if any of the video seems a bit sluggish, it watermarked or purely deinterlacing wants. all in real time with a small tool and synonymous nor kostenlos.falls you want to know more just write back. 've written a lot here.
