Frage von mleko:Hello.
I wanted to ask if someone a workflow for HV20 with 25p footage knows?
This is described in a workflow, but does not work with 25p footage: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2410?viewlocale=en_US
It describes that it should restore the 1080i? Why "i" if I take progressive?
My question is this: I have with the HV20 with 25p rotated.
Now I want to capture it in Final Cut Pro, and place in the settings - Easy configuration: Format: HDV settings: HDV - 1080p25 On.
After I've captured a clip, and then into the timeline prefer, a window that says to me that the clip is not with the sequence settings match. When I analyze the material, I always see 1080i, even though I've recorded with 1080p25?
What is the ultimate 25p in Final Cut workflow.
Liebe Grüße
Mleko

HDV, like DV, is always "i". That's why your material is only the trick with "p" that the two fields, rather than a 50tel seconds to be moved
simultaneously to the tape to be written.
That is synonymous with the Recording indistinguishable, there is simply "HDV".
The timeline / sequence - HDV 1080p25 setting is correct. It should not come to the message that the recording sequence and attitudes differ.
So you need somewhere made a mistake. Sorry, but it is so.
That what you've described, is already the whole workflow. Export, you can cut the film in almost any codec, you need only one respect: It must be progressive, because the material contains only 25 phases yes.

This is what the HV20 in HDV output 1080i50 is always - if you are synonymous in 25p mode searched. It is distributed in the 25p mode, the "halves" of the frames on two fields. So is it so with the HDV2 standard compliant.
This is even in the manual relating to "HD standard" (p. 38):
HDV (PF25): High Definition 1080i video in accordance with the specifications for recording with a frame speed of 25 frames per second.

Well ... if the setting is correct HDV 1080p25, but the files are captured in 1080i, then yes Final Cut Pro to say that there are differences?
Where is it my fault, so I'm not Final Cut pointed out that if I want to change the settings?

Simplify us but the thing on a Mac is always a good advice you are sure, in "p" filmed to have searched with
simple configuration of the settings you described. What can you do? You can on the question whether the ... blablabla ... according to the ... blabla ... are to be changed, click YES or NO. So Click NO, and export a clip with the same "current settings", on your desk. Then join the sequence, mach> File> New> sequence and place it (right click, settings, if you do not ohnhehin in preferences have asked, with a new sequence to ask) for a change in HDV 1080i50. Export Comparison to the same clip (with the QT player s.besten) to the desktop.
Let us know what it is escaped.

hallo freunde of coding;)
So ... I was now only a few days with the capture of HDV material employed, and have images for visual analysis.
My conclusion ... no different. when neither restore nor mti 50i in 25p ...
Of what I've fooled me s.anfang leave is as follows:
if you watch footage to quicktime, then you can see clearly inferior quality (apparently comes with hd quicktime files not clear)
But if the quicktime eg 1 sec. standbilder outputs, and analyzed them in photoshop, you will see a much better quality.
am today times the apple ProRes codec dedicate and see what it is so with each pixel safe.
thnx for the posts till now!

OT: Currently pile up Final Cut Pro questions. None Read more manual is really good by? As is almost everything. Generally on technology-and video formats, workflows, workflows with FCS - everything in the manual!
