Infoseite // Working with external plate s.Mac / PC - which format?

Hello!

working with Avid Xpress Pro s.meinem both work (with Mac), as synonymous privately at home (on PC). I want to be an external growth plate in order to emphasize the capture and cutting. The external plate with the material should be invited synonymous allow me to cut my home and vice versa s.PC continue. My question is: How do I make the plate s.besten to make this possible? FAT 32 seems to be relatively slow, I heard NTFS and the Mac can only read. Has someone an idea?

First many thanks for your reply! I do not know whether this solution as optimal. Of you're talking about a tool that I would have to separately run the files from the PC to read. but I'm looking for a professional solution like the I (on the Mac) omfi-media folder on the external disk on the pc next use. whenever I am yet another program must open so that all files can be read, this is a little cumbersome. then yes I would have avid and MacDrive always run simultaneously. that can not be the ideal way;)

After all, did you already know two possible methods (see synonymous cross-posting in the video forum). That there is a high road in the sense there, I doubt anywhere else would read them if you are looking for the lowest common denominator of Windows, Mac OS and the various filesystems google.

NTFS is synonymous s.Mac - with extensions. That is the way to go.

The post you are wrong before. MacDrive or NTFS extension s.Mac simply to run alongside as your video driver or USB driver. Of which you do not notice. Only you see all the hard disks and can describe them synonymous.
