Hi,
have Final Cut Pro 6 and voted last week a short film with the SonyXDCAM rotated and the data on my Mac played.
The data are in mp4 format, which I with the VLC Player can view it.
Well, I wanted them synonymous restore in Final Cut, but Final Cut does not really mp4 format.
Habe mir synonymous tool of the XDCAM Sonyfür Final Cut runtergeladen and he even shows the individual files, but there is no picture. So if you press Play on, it can run, but in the picture window is only "No Media".

MPEG4 is only the proxy data of XDCAM, which reduced Resolutionvorliegen. These include the "actual" recordings in the original resolution.

That is the question ... If, however, files of a XDCAM-EX, then there are the full-resolution files synonymous mp4 in an MXF container ...

It is kameraseitig in EX1 no MPEG-4 in MXF container, but it is MPEG-2 in the MP4 container. The Sony import tool that makes MPEG-2 in MXF. XDCAM knows no MPEG-4 for full-res video.
