Hello,
I've now synonymous since yesterday my XH-A1.
Slightly puzzled, I see 2 small oval openings below the cassette tray (covered by the grip belt).
The right is sealed with a lid, which left open - it seems to me I can then directly into the cassette compartment reinschauen - Lid perhaps lost?
In the manual is not to dive. If only my camera this secret compartments, or are the s.eurer synonymous available?
Am a bit nervous ;-)

So I can only tell you my cam that has two openings synonymous but they are both closed and I will now synonymous not open to look what is behind it, especially if you think that you can look into the drive.
Perhaps, the "service valves for the drive.

Know While the Cam is not really, but for professional cameras there's an opening through which one of the drive ausfädeln hand, if what is broken, and one without the tape band wants to remove salad.

BTW - in this way - you wrote recently in the video meeting, that the Firewire port of your HV-20 is defective. Was synonymous with me a few months ago the case. As any other digital device (my Canopus ADVC 300) on my PC and ran to the other, my camera, but neither of my PC or of other recognized, there was only the Firewire port as a source of error left.
Two weeks ago (well after 5 weeks waiting time), I got it back - repaired for free (well, there is still warranty on it).
And you wanted to Canon of 440.15 Euro? Canon knowledge and consorts actually, what they owe you? I bet that know dass
You wrote there next to you, the HV-20 can no longer repair. Then you use your XH-A1 as Capture Camera? I have of course, vice versa, to proceed.
Soon I will be here or in the video meeting (where I have yet to register) to post times, which is more accurate to me Canon Firewire port had to say.

I have just a little bit more about the XHA1 viewed, clear ..... This is of course no coverage for a Battery, here I had another camera in mind. For me both are synonymous with oval holes sealed lids.
My shots XHA1 now I am playing with the HV30 in the PC .... man (n) still has several cameras Choice. ;-)
However, I do now, to me this Firewire port is not synonymous nor verreckt, always nice to turn off the Camera Cable stuck!

well after 3 months, I have now finally the lid Chen (half as large as the nail of my little finger) for my XH-A1 will receive.
