Hi!
In a couple of months, I would change my HV30 on a more professional camera. I thought so far s.die XH-A1, which in many forums is highly praised. But when I said yesterday in a camera shop told me was the people on the spot I should SonyHDR-FX1000, as the XH-A1 would be a discontinued model.
That to me things like manual setting options are important here, I must say I do not think so. However, XLR inputs and a LANC connection in any case necessary.
I would like to see before purchase, some opinions / suggestions of purchase you get.
Is it worth even more, nearly 2,800 euro to a XH-A1 to connect? Or is the technology / image quality is now so outdated that I have another camera to use? The XH-A1s etc is because of the higher price away.

Use areas would be documentaries, documentaries, stage shows.

The people in your Keschäftamerageschäft talking nonsense. The FX1000 is unsuitable for your purposes because it has no XLR.
The XH A1 is the control of variable synonymous than FX1000.
If you have control because of the rise will take the XH A1. The FX1000 is rather what kind of automatic film.
