Hi,
I love my XL1. Unfortunately, 10 years for an Cam quite old, and I'm looking for a worthy successor.
My Applications:
Mainly reporting for a regional news portal. The contributions are currently available in SD and then rotated to Web Qualli downscaled. Places like EB are usually just pretty varied, sometimes indoors, sometimes outdoors, sometimes in clubs, at Fire Department operations. Sowas eben. I did it mostly on manual focus on, was bad but because of the viewfinder is not sharp manual, but use the highly successful "Focus-push-button"
Also, I use the camcorder synonymous for study purposes and thus turn s.and s.Kurzfilme. Most synonymous but only for the Web or DVD, closing date for film is very rare, especially with the SD not so synonymous goes. But I have to borrow in the university a Z1E.
What I am looking for:
I love the concept of the XL1. Much of directly reachable, "Shoulder Camcorder, Optical Image Stabilization, and so next. Also, the AE_Lock button s.der XL1 think I just super. Zack, exposure remains so, and may at any time be changed directly. Genial!
Criterion is the following:
- Preferably easy handling, XL1-like;)
- XLR Connections
- Internal Richtmic good (although I'm obviously synonymous willing to swap, if possible)
- LCD Dsplay me is basically not very important. I know it is only without, but I have never lacked synonymous
- SD's enough for me in 99% of the bets entirely from

Sony:
Here, yes, I know the Z1E, and the light is driving me compared to my XL1 always tears in the eyes. Sowas geiles! I want to be a bright synonymous camcorder! Unfortunately, I fit the concept at all. Much too small, not for the shoulder, cumbersome menu, one finds the keys in the dark is not, and so next. But what I find very cool is the zoom ring with a mechanical end stop! Do want!
JVC:
Look chic in these things, but they are quite expensive synonymous. For the GY-HD251 is definitely my budget is too small, and on the smaller models reads is not much good. Unfortunately I can not synonymous these things just to try out, unless they borrow somewhere expensive. Do you have experience with the devices? How is the light? Handling? etc? Did these things actually an exposure and auto focus? Mechanical End stops?
Canon:
Well, here are basically the XL2 and H1 on the election. How do they differ in the light? HD, I need really is not, and the price difference is quite high. LÖocken doing here holding me the concept, what I really am already accustomed, the main controller are s.der the same place as in the XL1. What about the follow-XL1 lenses with out the stops? How reliable is working the AutoFocus? How is the recording in HD, or is in the H1 to record in SD really worse than the native SD camcorders?
So, now that was what I so far have envisaged. But I'm synonymous open for other brands. My budget is between 3000 and 5000 ¬, but I obviously reluctant to spend more than urgently needed;)

So I would XL1Ha consider.
Or just the SonyEX3 but it costs more than what you want to spend.
I consider as synonymous been a while.
But I think the XL1 series is if you look at once with your angefreundet really not so wrong.

XH A1 with a shoulder rig could possibly still fit. As the quality of XL H1a "identical" means.

I have little info can find what the difference between the H and Ha is. Could you possibly enlighten me? The 4-channel recording (but I would like) seems to be in a missing. Synonymous and the interfaces for a synchronous time code. Do I need but not always.
Still other differences? Ausstattungstechznisch seems to be a yes "small" to be, but still more expensive?

You can get here on camcorder compared Slashcam in the Z1, H1 and the Canon A1 look at it. According to this comparison, the A1 lichstärkste and synonymous with the best overall ranking. She has no Exchangable optics and is not a shoulder camcorder. Nevertheless, it could offer a real alternative for you, which is within your budget. And so'n right shoulder camcorder, the XL1 yes not synonymous.
I personally find synonymous, the XL2 is very good, especially from the operational concept synonymous ago. The light sensitivity is not bad, but it is less sensitive to light than the XL1S.
Hast thou Exchangable of the optics used? Do you have multiple Objetive for the XL1? That would be a reason to hire on the XL2 or the H1 switch. Otherwise, you lend it out somewhere ne A1 and test it yourself.

Reads in any case is not bad. The successor is probably already in the starting blocks, a bissel wait yes I could still synonymous.
What I could not rauskriegen on XHa1: Does it zoom in a mechanical limit stop? That would be important to me.

Is there someone who has the piece, and times it with the rather vague and imprecise zoom and focus rings can be compared to the XL1? Better? Right?
