Frage von Invisigo:Hello
I've got a problem and I do not know in which category it belongs to I post it in here.
I have on my PC (Pentium 3 with Windows ME recently) installed ffdshow in order to watch Divx and Xvid files too. The synonymous works flawlessly. Now I want to use these videos in Windows Movie Maker (V1.0). I can import it and he plays it off entirely synonymous errors. But as soon as I possibly try to do something with them (eg, cut or film) to save my report to the Movie Maker Moviemk FFDSHOW.AX has caused an error. Moviemk is closed. "
My question now is: How can I use the Xvid files in Movie Maker?
Would be nice if you could help me.
Antwort von Gast 0815:
Have you installed it as a separate Xvid codec? Thus, it should really work out (there is eg here: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html).

Thank you guest 0815!
Now I have downloaded one of the codecs. Initially, there were still these problems, but when I uninstalled ffdshow then it ran perfectly.
I'm very grateful for your help!
Antwort von Gast 0815:
You really do not need to uninstall ffdshow, it would be enough under Start-> Programs-> ffdshow-> ffdshow configuration of the decoder libavcodec for Xvid to Xvid change.
