I need absolute beginners and even a tip. Today I bought a digital video camera with a DV output and s-video. my notebook but has connections except noweiteren an usb and serial input. is an acer extense 2300th what shall I do now so I get the video on the computer?
firwire map of what was read. is that correct and is that enough?
so how does it actually made the video film on cd or dvd to burn? is that possible?

1. Buy Firewire card for the PCMCIA slot, (; is being sold off everywhere, as newer laptops have Firewire on board)
2. Camera insert record and
3. Cut (; software usually bundled with Firewire card)
4. Author and burn (; software bundled with DVD Burners).
