I have ne of Sony DV-cam, and cut all the videos on the pc, logically in avi and finished and set to music. cut software is Ulead video Studio 9
Normally, movie maker, but the latest has always hangs if I use a clip on the timeline and drag trying to play him. pc is newly formatted. Why?
And then: do not read the MPEG2 Movie Maker? since missing a codec? if so, which? wanted to trim what was not to import. with divx codec then lacked the image, (standing somewhere, it will be due). Now, as I said everything new on it, after the formatting, no decs.

And how do I get my 16 GB on ne DVD? I have my: with what program made it the best experiences? I do not want great quality loss. or who else has ne completely different idea? Your source material is minidv (ie, from a tape-so yes synonymous as large). You cut it just like that () in Video Studio. When creating the output (video file) do you use Pal-DVD (everything is predetermined) and after that it becomes synonymous fit on a DVD.

- Intersect with the WMM, I found was much more brisk than with Ulead, ok, I Beutz ulead now anyway until after the WMM nich walking more, which I think is a shame.

I have a film done the way you said () for testing: it is 4:34 in length. The file is now 256 MB in size. Is it ok, or still huge? yes that would be charged with ner hour, or about 3.5 gb, I'm me?
I think the tone and image are quite good - the only question is how things look on the big TV.
another question: it's now an MPEG file. I can simply burn it with Nero, or he must convert to ever again? I have wanted a menu to how to do that I know everything. However, he always says nero need 4 hours and more? The PC has enough power. 1 GB of RAM.

what I miss, so do not know You are hunters and collectors ... :-) A good film bracuht usually hardly "falling blocks" Effects completely out .... in fact many stops. Everything revolves rumfliegt and otherwise interfere and only sees it) from amateurish (imho-my opinion.

It is minidv! MPEG is a "form of compression" as synonymous eg DIVX!
Again, in short. Record video with a digital camera ... then transferred via USB / Firewire (some GB are) ... then cut it into eg VideoStudio .... and then output into new video file (mpeg-PAL-DVD as it ).... burn in Nero. Everything clear?
