DVD, you can forget it. Poorer quality than MiniDV for direct compression and the post is an act in itself (conversion orgies, etc.)
Up to 400-euro ... naja.
Since the choice is really clear.
NV-GS27 occurs to me spontaneously.
30x optical zoom, very small and lightweight, with good lighting conditions synonymous acceptable image quality.
Costs so around 300 euros, there is more money for video tapes, etvl. Micro and an external video light in there.

... so really only during the day ... If you are absolutely sure you only s.Tag filming and just outside (where there is sufficient light), then you could be right with the GS27. Otherwise, look synonymous check out other articles, which dealt with this camcorder model (search, "GS27" went to type ,...).

ok, I had read somewhere that firewire was designed for linux but that has probably changed by now. s-video I've never found, but strong s.videorecorder reminds me: D and dv is apparently only the technical term for digital video.

The Elura seems perfect for me, what price / performance terms, especially since I have the picture here http://www.magazine-video.com/tests/ convinced. The MVX450 is currently at around 360euro, which also fits perfectly into my budget.

Yes S-video separates luminance / chrominance, composite (RCA) does not yellow, I must admit in my 15 years old, I have dozens of television time of S-Video / RCA with the Pana GS umgeswitch't 500th So I was able to correctly evaluate any significant loss.
