Frage von Jan Myck:Hello CanonXL 2 users.
Two questions about the beautiful Camera:
The XL2 has an AF Pushtaste (Like XL1)?
Does a sound recording with
line-level only in Vierspurtonbetrieb with 12kHz? Or individually synonymous with 48kHz.
Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, knows the data processing procedures, only two sound sample rates. 48 KHz for two tracks and 32 KHz for two or four. This is regardless of camera model, but the DV recording format with his due. It is completely irrelevant whether recordings via a line level or mic level into the camera takes. Following are contacts of my knowledge, only in four-track operation, ie at 32 kHz is possible. This must be the original recording in 32 KHz has been added.

Hello,
20X Lens for the XL2 does not push AF switch mehr.Man can with the AF-counter remedy, (from one focus position in the direction of AF until clarity is reached).
Push AF, however, in contrast to the XL1, with the help of the ZR 2000 Remote control s.Schwenkgriff where the tripod head.
Also of Manfrotto and Bebob there are remote controls for these

"It is completely irrelevant whether recordings via a line level or mic level into the camera takes."
It is already clear to me. What I wanted to know is whether I choose the XL2 in 2-channel mode ever had. And apparently I did not, because the XLR inputs (Audio1), only mic-level.
The RCA inputs accept line-level - but obviously only go on Audio2 - and Audio2 is always 4-channel mode, that is 32 Khz.
That is a pity, because audio is technically a step backwards, especially when music from a line source on the RCA inputs recorded.
Also the lack of AF-push-button s.Lens.
When handling a slide slider you can easily shake.
The pressure-sensitive button because I think that's better.
Why was it omitted ....?

Although I have no XL2, but according to manual, there are four separate RCA inputs. And I see no reason why one of the inputs 1 / 2 non-synonymous in 16 bit and 48 kHz can be.
Details on audio recordings you can in the manual s.Page 46 after reading.
