Frage von frofilm:hey people
I have before me the XH-A1s of Canon to buy
I just now noticed the Cam in 1440 x 1080/50i HDV recording.
50i this irritated me a bit, ie 25 fields is meant? So normal HDV? Because I binn with the compatibility to Final Cut worried
if this is something different.
Antwort von Axel:
"i" is in any case work. When
recording there is only HDV. Whether "f" work, to find out even if there is a
sequence preset
HDV 1080p25 there. If you do not have to with "i" take preference.
Antwort von WideScreen:
A movie production asks sowas? Ui ......
No, everything will be alright. 50i are the fields and goes with any editing program. And no there are not 25 but 50 half half meant. HDV standard flat ....

thanks for the reply
with the name is sone sache;)
Antwort von PowerMac:
This is normal HDV. Goes with Final Cut Pro and FCE problems.
Antwort von lrdriver:
Sounds fairly optimistic. I create but it is not. Have Canon XH a1s, brand new Macbook pro and FCE 4.0.1. Try now for an hour to log. Recording in HDV 50i, simple configuration is on HD. Does not ... where I make a mistake? IMovie recognizes the camera problems
Antwort von Axel:
simple configuration is on HD. Does not ... where I make a mistake? IMovie recognizes the camera problems Perhaps missing from a Basic Configuration "simply in the" V ". I do not have FCE, as far as I know, it still makes the Intermediate Codec. What you need to adjust since then, I can not tell you. If iMovie recognizes the camera and your material accepted (here's everything automatically), you have just a wrong preset.
Antwort von lrdriver:
Certainly it's s.der default, I believe synonymous. Just like I knew how because otherwise should be. HD "V" I can not select only HD, there is not a V.
