It is a VHS format with continuous Picture and audio. Only more flash like you can perceive Picture and Sound.

It is a VHS format with continuous Picture and audio. That could be both s.Wiedergabegerät than synonymous s.Bandmaterial. The former can be ruled out by several recorders are tested (if available) and especially higher-value equipment, such as already Maik wrote.
The tape itself, I would visually check, so on and then flip. However, you should know what to look for, because of the possible sources of error, I have unfortunately no illustrations.
