I have really searched the forums thoroughly and unfortunately found no answer to my question - please pardon anyway, this issue should have been here ever dealt with!
So, I have a movie with VirtualDub rotated by 90 ° and saved the resulting file as AVI. After that I wanted to cut the end of the film, since I am not quite fit. Rotate as I said with VirtualDub, cut with the Movie Maker 2 If I then save the movie file and neuenstandene'm Watching the result is the person in the film wider than long, although I have paid extra for VirtualDub that agrees with the compression - the results after the rotation are good quality and the file is synonymous not too large, the picture is not jerky. The problem must therefore lie in Movie Maker. There I however can not find any settings that could change in order to avoid the distorted picture of - just like in VirtualDub menu Video -> Compression.
I hope someone can help me, maybe I have the desired setting in Movie Maker synonymous easily overlooked.

Your film made to be brought back to the PAL_Maße. That is something to cut away the top and bottom so that the picture in the vertical AND horizontal direction s.das PAL format will be adjusted.
Thus
- Rotate
- Choose 4:3 Extract
- Extend to PAL
