Know the Camera not, but we usually play on the DV data via a Firewire cable to the PC.
If your finalized DVD in the PC-ROM drive can read, then you can have the synonymous files using Windows Explorer to copy your hard drive.

but that is exactly my problem, the files can be copied while, but without the dvd in the drive, can not play like a copy it would be. how can I bypass? or geht das überhaupt?

have a sony dcr dvd 505E my cam is still a MiniDV cam! Yes what now? The DVD505 - the name defines it close - takes on a DVD instead of the easy to MiniDV tapes. So you have either a DVD505 or a MiniDV camcorder, because one excludes the other.

Perhaps neverlone but this quote from that manual is next: "You can not play movies or edit, which you of the disc to the hard drive of your computer have copied. For details about importing of shooting can be found in the manual" Getting Started "on the CD-ROM. "
In addition, I agree with the tip to: Dear MiniDV! A disc recording system is only s.der SonyPDW-F330 interesting ;-)
