I have created a dvd with encore and now needs to scare my notice that the quality has seriously deteriorated the used videos. when I play the finished dvd on a dvd player, which is pretty bad quality. (bitmaps and step edges, the color looks the worse for synonymous off)
But I think time does not mean that this is so, would be pretty pointless. when I play the video of the dvd and the original video (both 20) can long minutes we see a significant quality loss, and would I like to avoid. because what I've got a megapixel cam, when the final analysis, quality is not nearly as looks like the gecapturte raw material.
I mean, it's clear to me that the compression is s.der but why then is the result so bad. The problem is that you create in the disc menu can set anything real, like for example the one to use space on the disc, but it is really clear that the court maximla should be used to achieve best possible quality to.

I can not say any encore would like it to compress. or should I try and burn the whole to a double layer dvd (but I do not even think the impact has on the ultimate size of video data)
(achso, I can not imagine, but perhaps it is because the "raw" gecapturten videos are, therefore, the data that is written to the capture cut. was here that is not necessary.)
is to ask, as I said in encore dvd can improve the quality of output videos on dvd or the entire size of the dvd can exploit. one answer would be helpful - thanks in advance schonmal - jan

Aha - thank you
ah, the transcoding setting thus refer to the compression during the encoding of the dvd. I thought it may be Incompatible video formats to the adobe standard (mpeg2) bring or something.

mpeg2 is not an adobe standard ... a DVD VOB "Stream" or the MPEG video stream delivery to you with 2-pass variable bit rate up to 9.8 Mbps data rate. Of times I go out on miniDV PAL material, which has a data rate of 25MBit, the DV codec is synonymous one DCT compression, but intra-frame, interframe not like MPEG. That means you have simply because of the MPEG format in the DVD stream one after the worst Häflte data rate, which is of course depending on the encoder quality to your picture (blur, edge effect of education).

jua and how I can handle this, because dvds on sale but the picture quality is razor sharp - and are synonymous but "normal" compressed, thus in mpg.
