Frage von L._Gaunt:hello together,
I currently test for optimal settings for quicktime export with the h264 codec, to find. I create it in quicktime format 480p, 720p and 1080p. 'm already at a very good way, the data quality and size ranges s.die eg very high quality quicktime hd-up, like the one on Apple's trailer site found (http://www.apple.com/trailers/). yet somehow still lacks the final touch. Hence my question: has anybody already experience with the codec and the best settings, or someone knows the exact specifications required for the zb hd apple quicktime on the page will be provided? because there is certainly decreased and controls from the studios, so I go here of the best possible compromise between file size / quality. but so far no corresponding data found, whether here or any specific settings, filters etc. are used. Many thanks for help, tips, links, etc. gruß

Could I imagine that it is s.folgendem:
1: You're using video and probably not more than 35 mm film as Hollywood. It is probably just the video look, what you have with the film look this video trailer on the Apple website comparing what the final touches not mind.
2: The codec for movies on the Apple site in my opinion, but not h.264 Sorenson 3rd (Have in the source code of the website and looked up in a JavaScript. Mov seen.) Sorenson 3 is similar to the h.264 but as far as I know there's a professional and very expensive version, which is the slimmed-down versions gegenüger often be supplied where still a lot of adjustments.
Perhaps you should look at the details of your render settings to post. There are surely in this forum some people when you still could help Optimization.

Sorry! I've got you in my previous post assumes that you accept that the videos on the Apple Web site videos are h.264. - You say, however, that are high quality HD QT videos and you have quite naturally.

Now I am very curious about your settings - like you do not know if they are synonymous not quite perfect - and would give me one or the other will certainly save a lot of time ....

Incredibly small can I find the trailer on the Apple QT actually not. Have I find incredible the speed with which the data on my calculator geschaufelt be. Click - Zupp! - Reputation, such as television. One would have their own presentations for such a speed (in the case of such resolution), so I imagine website before. Depends of course, many factors.
HDV calculated certainly not as good as small as the respective original movie. I have not yet synonymous optimal setting found what data relates (use synonymous Compressor, which is based on Quicktime), where the highly material dependent (motion, blurs, etc.). But what I know is: Compressor quality never drops below "Medium quality", ALWAYS the best quality encoding> Multiple passes. Even if it lasts very long, you can see the difference really.
