In your case it has with the system itself nothing to do. I was in between just two or three (iMac 2 GHz Intel Core Duo 2 GB). For me it has helped to make a fresh start. Mostly everything but running. What is different after a reboot? For example, in parallel programs open then closed. I had an old version of Photoshop, which ran on Rosetta, which was usually at the same time. Since CS3 is the message, as far as I remember, was no longer synonymous. Who knows ... more
