Frage von michaela1:Hello
I have a jvc gz-mg140e camera. Unfortunately, the connection via usb s.pc only possible and therefore I probably have a strong data-loss, ie reduction in quality.
Although I've already rumgesucht in the forum, but as a layman, I am not sure the right to have found, so my question:
the camera has only one source for usb and one s.ausgang. There is a satisfactory way the camera with a firewire card to connect s.pc? So the loss of data as small as possible to keep?
Best thanks in advance and nice greetings, michi

I have a jvc gz-mg140e camera Hi Michi,
this is a hard drive camcorder, there's no Firewire. So you have no loss if you have the copy files via USB.

... gz ... mg140e connection via usb s.pc only possible and therefore I probably have a strong data-loss, ie reduction in quality ... With the small JVCs I do not know, but if a hard drive camcorder, it is USB (unlike the cameras with tape) very well for data provision - a reduction in quality, you must not fear. A Firewire port s.Calculator in this case is not necessary and not usable. Is because in the manual that came with the camera with nothing to connect the PC?
EDIT: Only second victory, but at least we agree on the content ;-)
