Hi,
does anybody know how to create a glittering effect created in after effects? it's a "bling-bling" effect, as in clean glasses in the advertising or similar.

Perhaps a very first starting point: a solid color, with mask placed in a star shape. Stark blur drüberlegen and with an appropriate transfer mode ... so there is s.dieser place a glow effect. Now even the Opacity to animate.
Helpful are possibly synonymous Lensflare (of course only geblurt or otherwise distorted because otherwise too obvious) and - if you, the "Pro" version did - all the CC-effects to "render" (eg "CC Light Rays").
