Hello,
I've lost my toshiba external hard disk because of a defective power adapter built into my computer (IDE).
No problem, all data (1) were out and I could work with. Have you other data (2) draufkopiert. After a restart s.nächsten Day (chkdsk reported a few errors, but they were corrected) I can make just one part of the data (1) access, among other data (2) states that "access denied".
Even if I sign up as an admin, I have to these directories no longer have access.
who can help me there? There are important data!

I think you have XP as an operating system? If the panels gejumpert?
The plate is synonymous in the BIOS fully recognized? Perhaps this is a tricky synonymous Program / ... Dateiverküpfung occurred after the motto: "Application is already of another program"?
I would now the plate again expand (disconnecting), then reboot
go down again, re-connecting plate, and now I am starting to all cases equally as ADMIN login ...

It may be that the data (directory structure) are incorrect and therefore you no longer get access.
If you are lucky, you could directories to another disk copy.
