how do you do it from a purely Speicherplatzmäßig?
I have really much space on my hard disks (about
400 GB), however, hold contracts with more being synonymous back then where the tapes have to be captured. what s.meisten Space eats are nunmal the AVI's.
At first we did that so that we bought new, larger disks, which can be permanent but no solution ????!!
Unfortunately, the files must remain the pre-secured for all possible changes, so I do
not delete the AVI files, since the project file being accessed. The files all makes sense to DVD's or CD's to burn would not be synonymous since some projects 50 GB in size.
The original tapes are and remain synonymous import all present, but a repeated would cost too much time and effort, quite apart from whether it be with the project files in terms ,..... "
Where is the file ....." works.
So how do you do it? I'm anxious to see your solutions, because I have hard disks that is again just before the overflow ....

You can save the. Avi files to delete external (eg, DVD, or hard disks) and schließlichvom Calculator. The project files can be found on the plate and when they are actually used again as you throw. the DVD, copy the. avi (s) back to the calculator and again drauflos snippets. (This should not even be then the original path - at least in the premiere ...)

If a project is complete, I archive the associated data on external hard disks. Is ruled out further work later, I save just the edited movie as a DV-AVI, and MPEG2 - AC3 and DVD project files. So I could ensnare even the subsequent chapter markers and menus, if the time should be required.

Nightfly. I meant 25 GB, on average, than overall (Capture + Project + MPEG2)

I would not even save the AVI equipment - if all the video material is available on tapes! I do not know how this works in other editing systems, but with Avid Xpress Pro I keep only the project information and cutting lists for Project completion.
Before the finished sequence will be offline (in 15:1-resolution simple) de-composed and nachgebatcht online (1:1). After opening lead on tape or MPEG2 compression of all video material will be removed.
Should I have to change s.der sequence was sufficient "merely" (Of course, seeing as a function of project size) is a nachBatchen the video material (possibly in a particular area, and) not even the complete sequence.
Maximum graphics, overlays, animations are still backed up somewhere.
Video material will be charged at least no longer the plate ...

Since I Scenalyzer with capture, the names of the clips as synonymous with re-capturing. In Premiere, dan is only the import list may be patched to a different directory.

As so often, is being considered a Java project for 20xx ... ;-) Premiere 6.x is trivial in Studio9 I'm still a little unsure if "^" is really only for the Pfadanfang, synonymous, or else is used.
BTW: If someone told me I would send a project file of the current versions of Premiere and the new Studi10, that would be helpful ....

Something similar offers Premiere Pro 1.5 in the project manager. There are all copied to the timeline, use File s.einen elsewhere. The files s.ursprungsort you can delete it completely.
Works quite well.
