Frage von tonfaenger:Hi,
I need your help urgently please!
because my hard drive was more than full, I've moved the media cache on an external hard drive. since all can not open s.projekte, or remain at 13% stand.
the media cache had eaten at me on the Hard Drive 50GB (!). how can that be? I tried the data in the original directory backward. the projects could be opened partially (wait for 1 hour). However, it is my hard drive again overcrowded and s.schluckt the last bit of memory that is left .. It is a vicious circle! I must make it to the end of the week a project finished, white at the moment but not next. can someone help fast on the?
hope for your feedback! Thanks and nice Greetings!

Preferences -> memory and cache. Other Location Set! for all other times you could even read the online help, but since you're working obviously with compressed material, you will always have the problem with the Conforming. The projects do not stop, AE scans and indexes only the new footage, if you move the cache and now it may take time ...

ok, that's what I had already made. Read the included online help .. I'm in the preferences under "media and disk cache", the new location set.
habs once even managed to open the project after the changeover and was able to easily work with it. but then everything would have been indexed. and again the mist ..
btw. has doubled my media cache folder of 55gb to 100gb fast. I am really at a loss ...
