Hello,
I wanted to ask whether it is possible to simulate in After Effects 6, a kind of fire storm. It does not look 100% authentic, we only know it should. Do you need an additional plugin or can be created with the various existing effects?
It should look a bit like the example here:

In any case, not so'n Krisselzeugs, but all rather soft and quiet a bit vague and blurred, but the flames should have to move, almost like a storm of torn in one direction.

do you mean with "loop" ne repetition? So I would like to apply this effect on self-recorded footage, so you can see not only the fire but synonymous that what I've filmed.
Thus, like in Lord of the Rings 1, because I think the water was filmed and then applied to Frodo in the scene where he puts the ring and becomes invisible. In principle, I need something like this.
However, in After Effects'm not so well versed ...

If you take a sequence from another movie and want to build them, you really need to apply only compositing .. Keying or something .. ;)

will not look as "Overlay" is in Photoshop or something, where the fire is halbtranspartent and above the self-recorded footage.
The movement and color of the fire is rather transferred to the underlying film material and merging. Thus, like the filter in Premiere "storm / hurricane", which itself will find the outlines of objects, and it aligns the effect.

Times have to look at google, it once was a fire plug, which was free. Have I now synonymous but not found ...
