Frage von ckcool:Hello!
I have ransacked already here in the forum, but received no answer:
Was the weekend on holiday, had properly filmed, now I want to transfer the first time the video on the PC:
With Movie Maker, no problem, but the program I think that is wrong, because far too cumbersome.
Then I have downloaded the Programs of Panasonic, since the camcorder was not recognized.
Then I tried it with Ulead Media Studio Pro 8.0, so I can then control the camera in front and back, etc. but get no video signal pure.
FYI: WinXP SP2 connecting via USB 2.0
Can anyone help me?

the full resolution of the camcorder via USB outputs (which make only a few models, most of them scale the picture down = worse picture quality than when capturing via Firewire)
2.
software exists that supports the USB capture, such a tool by the Manufacturer. Unfortunately, needs, unlike FireWire, namely, each camcorder's own Drivers.
For the above reasons, it is usually not interesting to try to capture via USB. Especially as a firewire card for installation in your PC just 10 to 15 costs ¬ synonymous and elsewhere can still be meaningfully used (eg for external hard disks).
