I must shortly make an event via live stream available on the Internet, it should run:

2 Cams and a transformed into VGA video signal to run a Powerpoint presentation and sound in the video mixer with Live mix)
Live mix)
Signal-to-DV Converter with Firewire output)
FireWire adapter on small)
Firewire input s.Laptop)
Live encoding via the Helix Producer Professional)
Stream via the network connection s.den video server)
Distrubution via video servers (Helix Universal Server))

The whole is held s.einer University, the Network is, therefore, fast enough, etc.

My questions:

The laptop has no video card ... is yes, but a DV signal that can handle that so?

Notice how the white man running with IP addresses, etc., and where can I find this info!

We're ready with a well-rehearsed video totally inexperienced team but the Internet streaming, am grateful for all the tips and advice!

PowerPoint slides are in a stream with 300k but no longer legible. This should be done differently - unless you stream with higher bandwidth, the PAL Resolutionermöglicht.

Programs for sending of PPT slides gibts eg under http://www.accordent.com/ or slightly cheaper at http://www.hd-fabrik.de/shop/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=36

Even know who other Programs?

Hello Harald,

for the above link directly to take a 6-to-4-pin Firewire cable. Any unnecessary communication could be a vulnerability. ;-)

The Network may perhaps be fast enough, but how it looks with the upload speed of Internet access? Which is usually much lower than the download rate.

I do not know your notebook, but I think so. As an operating system should not be used with Windows XP Service Pack 2, because otherwise the risk of failure is incalculable. Further information to help you find the Wenn Firewire nicht (richtig) funktioniert.
