I have zzt. the test media composer and consequently a lack of experience with the program. my problem is to import the following formats:
avi
MPEC 2
mv2t etc.
I recognize only processed mc MXF files.
must now import all the data in MXF format available?
if so, with what program can I use the different formats to convert MXF?

... with what program can I use the different formats to convert MXF? MXF is a container format for video - audio - and metadata and for the exchange in different production environments thought. As my own but not with this format worked, there is still me s.Kenntnissen of compatible programs. But perhaps you enough information so that further searches in the i-Net?

markus, I thank you for the information. As I read, is working with the new sony ex1 cam with the same codec. it would be still nice if someone with experience MXF something to say. via firewire from the maz of course it is possible to create MXF files, but what I do with my old, so other file? everything about new capture?
