Hello,
I have mpeg2 files directly to DVD (without authoring see ......
synonymous my posting "difference mpeg2 - DVD)
The resolution is the usual 752 x 582
On my calculator provides all synonymous quite normally.
Now I have this DVD on different DVD players (Mediamarkt. ..)
play the mpeg2 files can be processed and the result was:
Almost always, the films in the Width distorted, ie: the
Screen height was fully exploited, right and left but it was a part
no longer displayed and the rest of the film was based on the
Screen width apart. So if I like the movie to 16:9
would distort, but with the zoom a little bit of the preceding that the
black bars above and below disappear.
To the equipment in the setup I have never found something to create a
Setting to correct it. In a device of SEC synonymous happened that
repeated at ejecting the DVD and restart the movie correctly displayed
was the next time he was but then again distorted.
Is there somewhere with creating the mpeg2 file an attitude that I
perhaps did wrong or what could be the reason for this
Behavior?

That is * not * normal Resolutionfür MPG2.

Usually this is not customarily would be 720 x 576

ok, sorry, I've probably prescribed.
The resolution I have taken in all the programs as "normal"
is offered as Pinnacle Studio.

What do you want? 352x576? 480x576? 528x576? 544x576? 704x576?
720x576? These are all "normal" MPEG-2 Resolutions.

That is absolutely not normal. This is neither a typical
Screen Resolution 1:1 ratio still PAL or NTSC, or VCD, or SVCD
DV or DVD yet. This is just a totally arbitrary
Resolution.

Information on video and get depressed:
720 x 576
Now again the question.
The reason being that any DVD player as a movie at
Playing in the Width distort?

16:9 flag? DVDPatcher shows you the s.and may be synonymous change.

Great, it sounds exactly as the solution of the problem.
But tell me "DVDPatcher" nothing. Is any free tool
or a big expensive software and how do I get it?
Are there any other programs that can do?
