Hello,
if it is to be a video DVD, which run in a standalone player has, then the MPEG2 format, the first choice. Up to 2 hours of video can be recorded in good quality,
to be recorded if the material has a g
ute quality (less noise g!). Note here the requirements of the respective television standard (resolution, frame rate) and the DVD)-specification (maximum data rates.
If the data is played back on a PC and definitely should not be dealt with next, then you can export the images synonymous to DivX format and burn to DVD. The image quality remains good even at relatively low data rates, but the playback of DivX-DVD is currently available only on a few DVD players.
