I have the following problem! I have the sony HC1 and wanted my HDV footage with magix video maker edit 2007, however, the HDV footage is not of record magix although an extra button there which supports HDV camcorder, it comes the error message that no connection to the device herrgestellt could be even though my camera is ready as it is in the manual. synonymous not receptive to work when I press the button for dv cams.
that whole s.der sache kommisch but because when I cam with a firewire port s.meinem computer verfinde opens on the destop a window where you can with what enstscheidne program that video on the pc to be transferred. In this way it works acuh but just not as receptive as dv HDV! quality and looks are not synonymous grad nahc from HDV! can you HELP me because YET OR IS THERE NE OTHER METHOD TO ME THE HDV recording on the PC too! it may perhaps be that it is synonymous s.der eintelling in the camera can be? I have aufjedenfall the footage in HDV, however, is because of the i-link eintelltung HDV-> DV so I can make from highest to but then the camera is not detected! ask for suggestions! thanks in advance!

The iLink setting should not, of course, on HDV -> DV proceed. Then the HDV signal to DV changed and you have no HDV. Thus, the camera is detected, either install the SP2 for WinXP, or you are looking for ne Instructions for WinXP SP1 + HC1, of which there are thousands in Inet.
