If you really want wide angle ... not enough, almost all of them. Because you need a wide-conversion .... and lack of XLR inputs can you with one (eg Beachtek) XLR adapter fixed ....
All in all, I'd you but from personal experience, the Canon XH A1 basket with a wide angle adapter to the heart. Once set makes great pictures and has a good handling ... The equipment is top!
With the future ....( hm): DV is almost standard yet .... everything about it is (more or less) the future ....
