I am facing a problem that I have to decide whether I me a Raid growth that SATA disks and uses either the data on dual U3 SCSI next directs or directly via eSATA (8 connections) s.einen SATA Raidcontroller.
There are conflicting opinions about this so that next I do not know.
Who has experience with similar systems?

If you anyway want to use SATA disks, it is useful and inexpensive synonymous with eSATA to stay. SCSI offers in this case, there are no benefits, but cost significantly more.

Thanks, already an important reference. A similar idea had already synonymous and I think it is now confirmed. The good SATA systems, however, are cheaper than SCSI, I can not confirm. For example, Dulce roughly the same price. Always provided of course that it is SATA HDs, which in the Raid potter.
