Frage von mrunner:Hello,
I am an absolute beginner in the field of video. With the Box of Medion (MD95700), I wanted my old VHS digitizer. Unfortunately, I get strong Ruckeleiene in the recordings. Hardware I have with my notebook (dual core, 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, GraKa ATI HD 3470) and with a P4 PC probiert - the same Ruckeleien. The tapes, using VCR to the TV play is smooth. The software I use Magix Video easy, or Home Theater Power Producer. In the preview are the Ruckeleien synonymous to see. The Medion box to VCR with SCART / RCA and the laptop / PC with USB 2.0 connected.
Is it now s.der Medion Box - I suppose that the analog signal only s.den PC durchgegeben here and will only be digitized. But if the technical data of the notebook or PC's are not enough? The integrated DVB-T tuner works well, however, synonymous records are OK, but there are already digital signals?
What is of Magix '' So they save their Videokassettn 'to keep - here is synonymous with a hardware solution to this?
What can I do to my old VHS to secure? They are now already 15 years old, but all in the play perfectly still.
Thank you for your help!
Steffen

I did something with my tv-dvd-recorder dubbed. Mustek a cheap part. Unfortunately, this is synonymous replacement unit within months has gone defective. my new LG on the other hand, runs perfectly, but it is unfortunately not able to record VHS without periodic disturbances. imagine that these incidents are even in the manual explicitly stated than likely. I can not understand synonymous. So if you in this way want to do, always inquire whether incorporated VHS, is possible.

Thank you Klaus for the tip, have been considered synonymous, just a DVD recorder to use. But somehow synonymous's I want to know why the digitization via PC not so klappt. So I know not synonymous next, I think the PC's hardware should match. So although a new Videograbber buy? Or can I get the shakes away the software? Somehow, I think the weak point of the box is Medion. Has anyone experience with the Magix product 'Save your VHS videos?

Thanks for the link, I will be the software equivalent times for free! Has anyone some info about my hardware (notebook with dual-core, 2.0 GHz, 4 GB HS, ATI Radeon GraKa and ext. DVB-T Tuner Box Medion)?
Viiele greetings,
Steffen
Antwort von vaio:
Hello Steffen, your hardware is more than enough. If you are in a notebook hard drive, you could take it with a second, via Firewire or USB2 connection, to taste. Since I am neither the software nor the box Medion know about you, I can not give info.
Good luck!

Hi Michael,
as written, as the software I use Magix Video Still Image and easy version 1.0, as a BS, I have WIN Vista. Now I'll try the trial version of Magix DVD 7.0. An external HD, I will try synonymous times. The Medion MD95700 box is about 2 years old, a DVB-T tuner with additional analog antenna, S-Video, RCA and USB 2.0 outputs. You know, perhaps a secure hardware / software solution?
Many greetings,
Steffen
Antwort von vaio:
Hello Steffen,
As already described, I know neither the software nor the Medion box. I think that the box mainly for TV reception (DVB-T) and is not designed for a (high) conversion of your VHS recordings, perhaps for several hours of material. A clock radio with an "antenna" is finally mostly synonymous to "awaken" and not because of the high-quality, interference-free radio reception designed.
You know, perhaps a secure hardware / software solution? The best solution would be the (existing) DV camcorder with analog-in. The conversion would be an ordinary VHS tapes you take. The VHS recorder via analog connection (RCA or S-video) with the DV camera and these in turn connect via firewire with the notebook. If you did not fall to me to "Converter" one. Since it is probably quite good models of Terratec and of course give Canopus. But there are still several other synonymous Manufacturer ... These models are only available for a (sometimes very high) DV-conversion of analog recordings designed (software is synonymous with). This distinguishes them of your Medion box.

Michael

Hi Michael,
synonymous, I think that the crux of the matter, the Medion is. But if I do the advertisements, especially of Magix read - these converters are synonymous so simple ... I have again made the software tried Magix DVD 7 - the same jitter. Thank you for en tip with the camcorder! Perhaps it is synonymous to me, a DVD recorder to organize - is always' ne money ;-)!
