after some trying on my TV card
I am now a firewire card increased
and it will work out the connection between Cam (Sony Digital Handycam)
and the computer is Athlon 2000XP and funnktioniert
I finally warring error-free data transfer.
(It's about 50 minutes, Audio Video Stream)
Now the software Ulead Video Studio 5.0
does not seem to be able to encode MPEG2.
or must I install the codec?
How is next now what program should I use?
a lot of money so I did not s.besten freeware.
I own but still synonymous Pinnacle Studio SE Version8
and Pinnacle Instant CD / DVD SE
Sorry if similar _oft_ already asked.
but a little google Wust in the overview is lost :-)

Your statement reads as if you are the inexpensive card-FW
www.atelco've bought. The supplied Studio5 is a stripped down
Version, which unfortunately only supports MPEG1. But so you can legally
easily capture, edit, and edit the finished video as
DV-AVI output again, or even on the CAM back to play if they are
can. (DV IN)
On the supplied software, you'll see why the card was so cheap.

That should be everything you can normally what you need. Capturing
Of Firewire, cut and edit, render, compress and
