Frage von JörgArlandt:Hello
I did some time ago some movies that I recorded using VDR
have burned to DVD. Since I was without the DVD menu, so
I wanted it now.
Only problems I arge, the VOBs back into mpeg to convert.
If I simply rename the files, I can not exploit
(q-dvdauthor).
Transcode is simply hanging:

The generated files of mencoder are synonymous unusable.
Has anyone any idea what's wrong or what I still do

I move VOBs either Smart Ripper (which can be directly IIRC MPEGs
transport streams, or at least generate aka TS) or by ProjectX
(the demuxt the desire to MP2 MPV).

Alan

I run Linux, so help me the window tools are not directly next.
However, you have me on an idea, and with further searching
habeich then found a solution :-)
Steps:
tccat-i / dev / hdc-T 1,1,1-t dvd> film.vob
tcextract-i film.vob-x mpeg2> film.m2v
tcextract-i film.vob-x mp3> film.mp3
a)
tcmplex-md-i film.m2v-p film.mp3-o film.mpg
b)
mplex-f 8-o film.m2v film.mp3 film d.mpg%
Then I took with q-dvdauthor (dvdauthor) creates a menu, the films (in
the case there were two) with Sprungmarken (every 5 Minuaten a) provide
and the DVD burned.
Only now are the following problems:
a) it is a mpeg file is created, which Sprungmarken work are only
some parts of the mpeg is defective: it lacks the first 30 sec. the second
Film, you can see the films in the last few minutes not directly pounce
(goto function of the DVD player)
b) there are two mpeg files that are Sprungmarken functions will only
added at the beginning of the second part further Sprungmarke introduced
you can film any part of the jump, the second film is complete,
only at the end of each film before the reopening of the menu for a
Picture the first seconds of the second part of the film flackernt
displayed.
It was fixed the same media (DVD RW) and the same player
used. So it is in the mpeg files are located.
And now?

ProjectX is a Java program.
As far as I know, there are JRE and Java SDK synonymous for linux. ProjectX should
So the function can be placed.
@ Alan Tiedemann:
The DVDDecrypter can (many) other things *. VOBs synonymous in individual streams
decompose (Mode: IFO, Stream Processing enabled, Demux).
