I take with my Panasonic GS320 video in widescreen format to capture and then after about IEEE 1394 Magix Video Deluxe. In the video, the screen looks distorted recording, because it is a 4:3 format.
Which Resolution Do I need to write to DVD for best picture in 16:9 on the TV to get?

4:3 and 16:9 videos have the same Resolution720 X 576 pixels.

The number of pixels does not decide whether your video is 4:3 or 16:9. The ratio of pixels (Height / Width) decide on the format.
