Frage von fabuFab:Hi folks,
did much good on the forum belongs here. Maybe you can help me so synonymous.
I want a DVD with Encore to create the various opinions and as small as possible. That is what I have with dr. divx 2.0 and tried synonymous quite good results, but:
1. When I see the files now import into Encore appear suddenly left and right black bars, in the preview dr. divx and synonymous with the normal play the file with Media Player Classic are not seen.
2. The imported file into Encore suddenly has no sound anymore. Here the same: during normal play, everything is in order.
What has surprised me synonymous was that dr. divx Resolutionder the original files (720x576) car-changing. I had to switch the user back. Otherwise, I have in the settings, except that the coding quality, nothing changed.
The files in Encore to interpret, so the pixel aspect ratio to change there has in fact nothing. Whether I RESTRICT square pixels, or leave the default, makes no difference.
I hope I got you all relevant facts and called me ever grateful for the answers.
Regards,
Fabi

Hi,
why because you expect your source material, the format in which it is synonymous always like this, only after the order DivX to MPEG2 then with Encore to make it? Use directly your source material without the nonsensical detour on DivX.

I will ensure that only the files as small as possible to get without too much of the quality of playfulness. The original example has a size of about 800 mb and after the compression then only about 20 mb, is barely noticeable quality loss and will appear in Encore yes again compressed.
Actually quite good if the only problem with Encore will not be.

Actually quite good, Egentlich rather pretty bad, but if you of the additional computational costs like ....
and then in Encore yes again compressed. The next mistake, because Encore is thy material MPPEG2 convert, so again make bigger. You have therefore an unnecessary format conversion of raw material -> Divx -> MPEG2 with a corresponding loss of quality, with the starting material conversion -> MPEG2 in Encore would be much umproblematischer. Additionally, you seem so Dr.Divx the information on the aspect ratios to bend.
Try really from your source material directly into Encore to use and saves you the step-divx.

Do right, synonymous hätt I myself remember. Whether I take the original data or the converted is hardly what gives.
Thus I am again very s.Anfang my problems. Especially when one of the files.
The original (mpg) s.sich is already a bad quality and a resolution that I can not import Encore. I render the file in Premiere in the right Resolutionraus, it will be over 10 GB in size, is much too large. I convert them into Premiere as an m2v into the desired size, I get unbearable fragments.
Any tips on this?
But thank schonml for educators.

So now let's slow.
Encore VideoDVDs created, so are the videos s.Ende always compressed in MPEG2. One should always watch the videos in the "original" version s.Encore over. Each intermediate compression destroys the next video. Is the video in its original form already highly compressed and / or has a resolution of the Encore is not accepted, it should be in an external program can send a PAL-compliant MPEG2 file, so that it accepts and Encore no longer needs to convert .

Hello, I have the problem that Encore does not accept xvid files. Adobe includes some format. Is this the same with Xvid? I have the latest codecs installed. Still nothing. When I first umwandele zb to avi, then meckert Encore always: no PAL format 25fps or not, etc.
Mov is the only thing after the conversion looks good, the sound is not moved and I can import into Encore. Only yesterday the Encore DVD authoring (more precisely: when transcoding) simply stood still.
Did someone experience, I would like to simply xvid file to import as an asset and the rest left to Encore? Can Encore ne codec list under push or so?
